We will be meeting at 8a.m. Saturday at the cul de sac on Stinson Drive for Trailwork on the newest section of trail being built, Witchback. I was out yesterday (Thursday) riding/checking this out. Folks,Berndie Lunsford has done it again, in laying out what will be some more fun,scenic, and great trails. The club will have tools, clif bars,and Gatorade. Bring yourself and maybe some gloves. Thursday morning, Chris Tompkins, SVMBA President, had the opportunity to speakat the Riverview Rotary club in Danville. It was a good opportunity to share information with many community leaders and business people about our club and trails. Most of those in attendance were unaware of the valuable resource we have in our backyard. This past weekend (2/27/10) was a trail work day at Anglers Ridge to clean upa little of the mess the winter has dealt us. Despite the cold, windy day, westill had nine volunteers show up for trail work. In addition to that, we received a visit from Tara Bozick with The Danville Register and Bee. Some Great Exposure for SVMBA!
